Mohamed Ndir, known as Dou, is originally from Senegal.<\/strong>
A self-taught visual artist, he practices a multidisciplinary approach that makes him one of the most brilliant of his generation. As a painter, sculptor, engraver, and designer, he employs a wide range of techniques which, combined with socially engaged themes, shape his artistic vision. He has held several major exhibitions both in Senegal and abroad, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions and art fairs in Dakar and internationally. His works are part of prestigious private and public collections, including that of King Mohammed VI of Morocco.<\/p>

\u201cHe belongs to a new generation of conceptual artists who no longer speak of \u2018rootedness and openness\u2019 like their predecessors, but rather of \u2018anchoring and transcendence.\u2019 In doing so, the artist contributes to the interpenetration of a multidimensional world where art knows no boundaries,\u201d says Ibrahima Njaay, art columnist in Dakar.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
